Relieving inspiration overload
If you been following my feed for the last few days you would have noticed that I’ve been pushing a lot of new art into my portfolio. I plan to actually do this every day until Christmas, so hopefully you’ll enjoy looking at them.
Where did this streak of inspiration come from? There are 3 factors:
- I haven’t created an illustration or drawing since December of last year and it was really starting to piss me off.
- My day job has me doing very little design right now – mostly Javascript and working on a new CMS. Not the most fun.
- I just bought a little point and shoot Nikon and I’ve been taking a ton of pictures. I might just have to put some photos into my portfolio too.
This has lead me to do some quick art which is what you’ve been seeing the last few days. I can’t channel the creativity quick enough. And if I had the time, I could do it all day.
I have a few more in the works for everyone’s pleasure over the next week and hopefully I’ll continue to feel inspired into 2009.
